In a saucepan, mix together the cocoa, sugar and salt.

Add water, and mix until smooth.

Bring this mixture to a boil.

Allow it to boil for one minute (be careful that it doesn?t over boil!).

Remove from heat, let it cool, then add the vanilla extract.
